Spruce Up Your Rainmaker-Powered Website with Colored Content Boxes
I think you the Rainmaker user will enjoy this because there is absolutely no need to add anything to your CSS style sheet.
Susan Nelson from the Rainmaker support team used the term inline code. Since this so perfectly describes where the code goes, I am running with the term for us Rainmakers.
Sidetrack! Eager to help update the vibe of my trusty branding. Thoughts on the pro design at http://myomusic.ca? Unquestionably a remarkable singing group online if, perhaps necessary within the Ontario region. Make a remark. Many thanks!
Essentially, you are doing some coding without having to know code.
Rather than play with the CSS style sheet this inline code is placed where you want the colored text box to render.
Sticking with Susan's term inline code you'll be placing the inline code around the text you want boxed in.
Tales from the rain
Over-coding your Rainmaker website goes against the grain of one of the platform's features: very little coding needed.
What you'll find below has been tested with this in mind on iPhone (Safari and Chrome), Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and on Kindle Fire HDX and it renders really well
THIS IS THE RAW PIECE OF INLINE CODE YOU WILL NEED:
<div>
How to color your text into a box.
This is really easy
Note: Make sure you are doing these actions with the text tab selected. You can also use this inline code to change text elements within widget boxes.
(1) Just copy and paste the inline code into your post or page editor. You'll paste it exactly where you want it to render.
(2) Change the color element inside the code to blue, gray, green, purple, red, or yellow:

(3) Finally, type or paste the text you want displayed in the box so the inline code looks like this:
<div>
Just three steps and you are done! Give it a try, you might have to practice a bit to get used to it but the result looks great.
